The working position is Telework DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Software Engineer 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered 'works made for hire' and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s). This Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the Texas HHS Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. This position will perform Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: ?Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments-8 years of experience Required ?Work experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer-8 years of experience Required ?Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions-8 years of experience Required ?Microsoft Power Platform development experience-8 years of experience Required ?Experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning-8 years of experience Required ?Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model-8 years of experience Required ?Experience in design and development of Power BI reports-8 years of experience Required ?Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows-8 years of experience Required. ?Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses-8 years of experience Required ?Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center-8 years of experience Required ?Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization- 3 years of experience Required ?Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project-3 years of experience Required ?Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams-3 years of experience Required.
