About the position
The Office of Admissions Operations at Indiana University Bloomington is responsible for providing operational, processing, and custom systems support for undergraduate recruitment and admissions activities. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data entry related to high school curricula from transcripts and other sources. The emphasis is placed on speed and accuracy in data entry, ensuring that all information is processed correctly to support the admissions process. The role requires the development of skills in using various local and enterprise systems and databases, including Hydrus, OnBase, and SIS, to facilitate the processing of transcripts and other academic materials. In addition to data entry, the position involves continuous monitoring of workflow processing queues, prioritizing tasks, and adjusting them as necessary to meet deadlines and support various initiatives. The individual will be responsible for identifying and escalating any discrepancies in curriculum data and processing irregularities. The role may also require assistance with other processing tasks as needed, making flexibility and adaptability key components of the job. This is a fully remote part-time position that will begin in August 2024, coinciding with the onboarding of new Admissions Credentials Representatives. The position offers flexible shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM ET, Sunday through Friday, with additional shifts available during peak times. A minimum commitment of 15-20 hours per week is required during high-volume periods, and the role is expected to conclude between late January and early February, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
? Maintain expertise in data entry of high school curriculum from transcripts and other sources, focusing on speed and accuracy.

Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED).

? 2 years of office work experience.
