JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Description of responsibilities and minimum qualifications: ? Assist with planting, pruning, and harvesting of apple and peach trees ? Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal tree health ? Participate in fruit assessment activities and sample preparation in the lab ? Learn and apply lab techniques for analyzing soil and fruit samples ? Contribute to ongoing research projects related to sustainable orchard practices

Requirements: ? Interest in sustainability and tree fruit production ? Driver's license and means to commute to the orchard at Rock Springs ? Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic outdoor environment ? Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions ? Penn State undergraduate student in good standing
