Responsibilities may include

? Create a comprehensive press kit with key talking points and success stories to secure media coverage and amplify the nonprofit?s message.
? Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely release of press releases, campaign emails, and other content aligned with fundraising efforts.
? Review and refine content for accuracy, impact, and consistency.
? Implement SEO strategies to make online content easily discoverable by potential donors and supporters.
? Analyze content performance to optimize messaging and improve audience engagement.
? Manage content distribution across multiple channels, including the website, email campaigns, social media, and press outreach.
? Coordinate content releases with fundraising campaigns for maximum impact.
? Ensure all content complies with legal and ethical guidelines, including donor privacy and copyright regulations.
? Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content, reinforcing the nonprofit?s mission and values.
? Track content performance using analytics tools to measure engagement, conversions, donations, and media coverage.
? Report on content effectiveness to the fundraising team and leadership, offering insights for future campaigns.

Qualifications
? Proven experience in creating and strategizing content across various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and press releases within a nonprofit setting.
? Ability to craft compelling narratives that engage diverse audiences, including donors, volunteers, and media outlets.
? Strong focus on finding and telling impactful stories.
? Experienced in writing and distributing press releases, creating press kits, and coordinating media outreach to secure coverage.
? Proficient in content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, email marketing platforms, social media tools, and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
? Skilled in applying SEO principles and digital marketing strategies to enhance content visibility and audience engagement across multiple channels.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including editorial calendars, media outreach, and campaign coordination while adhering to budgets and deadlines.
? Experience working with cross-functional teams such as fundraising, communications, and program staff, as well as managing content creators like writers, designers, and freelancers.
? Strong analytical skills with the ability to track content performance and use data-driven insights to optimize future content strategies.
? Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics.
? Understanding of nonprofit fundraising challenges with experience in crafting donor-focused messages that inspire giving.
? Knowledge of ethical standards and legal compliance in the nonprofit sector.
