About the position

The National Account Manager position at PDI is responsible for driving sales activities within the acute care market. This role involves interfacing with major distributors and healthcare decision-makers to maximize sales of PDI's products and services. The National Account Manager will collaborate with various internal teams to enhance PDI's growth and expand its offerings within assigned accounts.

Responsibilities
? Develops and implements creative sales programs within non-acute healthcare market customers to grow PDI's product portfolio.

? Builds strong relationships with key decision-makers in acute care and distributor partners.
,
? Influences key decision-makers and drives PDI product conversions at the Enterprise/Corporate IDN level.
,
? Stays informed of trade information, competitive market share, and pricing, making recommendations for new products or sales opportunities.

? Reviews monthly reports for accuracy and progress to sales forecasts and growth.
,
? Initiates agendas at distributor regional meetings and schedules trade shows to promote PDI's portfolio.

? Drives programs and PDI's layered approach into key accounts and distributor partners.

? Provides the Director of National Accounts with information regarding new sales contract opportunities and assists in creating programs for growth.

Requirements
? 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.

? Minimum of 7 years of verifiable sales results in Healthcare sales and account management.

? Extensive knowledge of Acute Care distributors and the sales cycle.
,
? Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

? Command of MS Office applications and Salesforce.com or other CRM products.
