Franchise engagement and engaging team. The large audience that the team interacts with. Cross country and hemisphere team. Supports every major Minecraft campaign. This resource will be the operations project manager who will support a large team.This role will contribute to Minecraft game update launches, Minecraft live events, & Minecraft live.Hours: Mondays - Fridays (40 hours/week)Location: REMOTE - However the candidate must be local as he/she will need to go onsite in Remond for occasional events.Start Date: 02/17/2025End Date: 06/30/2025 (with a chance of extension)Salary: $86,570 - $95,222 annuallyWe seek applicants with prior experience as contractors or full-time employees (FTE) at Microsoft Corporation.   • Supports in development of operational processes with a focus on day-to-day rhythm of business
  • Assists in implementation of processes and tools
  • Advises on improvement in quality and efficiency of current processes and tools
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external partners on rhythm of business process management, such as intake forms and requests
  • Production & Coordination ? Focus: Roadmap coordination across team disciplines
  • Assists in day-to-day roadmap management, tracking prioritized schedules and release plans
  • Attends project-based meetings to coordinate information flow and visibility
  • Assists others to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the team?s roadmap
  • Bridges social media and community activities into a combined pipeline and workflow
  • Facilitates information sharing along team schedule, roadmap, priorities, and appropriate data within our organization
  • Acts as coordinator with other production resources internally and externally
  • Skills:? Works with minimal guidance to ensure alignment across pillar functions? Collaborates actively with team members, internal partners, and external partners? Proactively creates connections and surfaces operational opportunities for process improvement? Independently works through solutions and sources answers to challengesNice to Haves? Experience in social media and community environments? Game industry experience? Copilot or equivalent AI experience with a focus on efficiency & organizationEducation/Experience:The ideal resume would contain Producer or Project manager background. The resumes shows an indication of success. How they were able to reduce a process or make a process better. And what the results were. An example of how they were able to convince stakeholders, brought a presentation to someone. Able to work with stakeholders that push back. Had worked with a big tech. Nice to have - Have done tech games in community.? 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.? No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Nice to have PPM or scrum master certification.Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience1. Minimum 2 years' experience with project management or production tools (e.g. ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira)2. Minimum 2 years' experience with project management or production workflow, ideally with experience in game production, marketing/agency production, or video/graphic design production3.
