As a Senior Medical Biller, you will play a pivotal role in our revenue cycle management, with a primary focus on medical billing, coding, Accounts Receivable collections, claims error identification, and claims denials management. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end medical billing process, overseeing claim generation, submission, and payment collection. Supervise and support in-house and remote billing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations. Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to accurately code procedures and services. Mentor and guide junior billing staff to enhance their skills and professional development. Interface with insurance companies for efficient claims processing and resolution of denials. Develop and implement best practices in revenue cycle management. Resolve complex billing scenarios and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Requirements: CCA (AHIMA) and CPC (AAPC) certifications are a must. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, including at least one year in a senior supervisory role. Proficient in identifying and correcting claims errors. Experience with Accounts Receivable Collections and Claims Denials Management. Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Comprehensive understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
