We are seeking to add a Marketing Manager to join the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) Marketing team. This candidate will be central to leading and performing marketing activities focused on value creation and growth for Amex GBT?s supplier partners. This role is pivotal in supporting the revenue-generating Global Business Partnerships air/car, hotel, and digital media solutions teams and managing initiatives to support specific growth goals.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, creative, and strategic marketer and project manager. We are looking for someone who has experience with end-to-end marketing execution and balancing various types of projects at one time, all while managing many different internal and external partners.
What You?ll Do:
? Supplier Experience, Value Creation, and Growth: Coordinate and implement marketing activities that build value and growth opportunities for our air, hotel, and car supplier partners. Build compelling presentations and marketing assets including factsheets, case studies, and video script/storyboards in partnership with our creative studio. Improve the supplier experience across our different public channels. Support specific revenue growth goals (e.g., digital media sales).
? Supplier Hotel Program Marketing: Lead the marketing efforts associated with the Global Hotel Program and the Ovation Preferred Hotel Partners Program to encourage hotels to participate in the program. Oversee delivery of program assets and custom supplier advertisements to showcase specific properties in targeted marketing channels.
? Digital Media Marketing & Email Channel Management: Oversee all supplier media placements on external and internal marketing emails, working closely with the Digital Media Solutions team and with a multitude of suppliers across air, hotel, and car industries. Build and implement emails in the Adobe Marketo platform; liaise between suppliers and Customer Marketing and Marketing Operations teams on emails sent via Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Optimize email channels and report on results.
? Strategic Supplier Growth & Co-Branded Campaigns: Support marketing efforts to help grow our most strategic supplier partnerships which could include co-branded campaign execution to customer audiences. Work closely with suppliers on approval of co-branded assets, partner with marketing and sales enablement teams to activate campaign in appropriate channels, and report on results.
? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Possess people skills to effectively collaborate with senior partners and cross-functional teams to support delivery of larger initiatives. Collaborate with external supplier partners in a professional manner.
? Marketing/Brand Review Processes: Manage marketing/brand review processes from start to finish, ensuring materials are up-to-date and consistent with the organization?s brand identity and go-to-market strategy. Adhere to evolving brand identity and partner with our internal creative studio to align materials and cohesion of message, look and feel across managed channels.
? GBP Marketing Team Support: Organize and keep accurate inventory of GBP marketing materials. Contribute to the team creatively, including brainstorming innovative ideas for marketing strategy and design. Support special projects for GBP marketing and broader marketing team, as needed.
What We?re Looking For:
? Bachelor?s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, communications, or related field.
? 3+ years of marketing experience or project management experience in a marketing or advertising environment. Experience in travel, hospitality or service industries is a plus.
? Excellent presentation design skills and ability to communicate via Microsoft PowerPoint.
? Self-starter with an eye for design and creative attitude towards problem-solving and storytelling.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listens actively and effectively conveys information.
? Excellent project management skills, ability to manage and complete simultaneously.
? Experience with marketing automation tools suggested but not required. Prior Adobe Marketo experience is a plus.
? Experience with briefing and collaborating with a creative agency a plus.
? Creative thinker, upbeat and entrepreneurial with a growth mindset. Attention to details.
? Comfortability with global remote teams and time zones.
Location
New York, United States
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate?s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
