Description:
This position is responsible for the management of employer group direct-to-consumer communications campaigns. They tend to be complex and high priority with multiple sensitivities. Campaigns will be focused on managing customer BOB, new customer/member implementations and new product campaigns. This requires working with cross functional teams, strong communication, providing guidance and recommendations from a marketing perspective. As part of the Medicare sales enablement team, this position supports prospecting, lead acquisition and member engagement efforts during enrollment periods throughout the year, with the goal of educating and growing group retiree membership and retaining members.
Responsible for the tactical development of Aetna advertising to support products and services. Leads compliance efforts. Interfaces with and directs design to create program advertising. Responsible for the development and execution of creative assets across the range of media from print to collateral, digital to video, websites to events. Manages advertising program including ad development, planning, placements, technical/legal reviews, budget, research, fulfillment, and ad effectiveness. Develops and supervises tactical print ad production to meet business unit objectives, including design management and legal approvals. Writes, edits and manages production of accompanying communications materials. Assists in the preparation of the sales/marketing program and coordinates with design. May assist in estimating production costs or monitoring work done by outside suppliers. Adhere to strict timelines to deliver the best possible product that aligns with customer needs, CMS guidelines, business strategy and positions Aetna favorably to retirees.
Strategy:
The Marketing Communications Account Manager works closely with account teams and external customers to strategically plan and execute the most effective communications experience for their retirees. It includes studying the customer, developing content, engaging with internal subject matter experts, product, clinical, brand and compliance constituents, and coordinating with procurement and production teams.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
Excellent written/verbal communications skills and passion for serving and understanding internal and external customers.
Detail-oriented project management skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, building relationships with varying levels of the organization.
Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to partner with senior/executive leadership as necessary.
Creative and strategic thinking skills to align with the business strategy and improve the member journey, including following business and competitive trends.
Proactivity in meeting challenges with resourcefulness, critical thinking, and innovative approaches, while maintaining a high level of quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Demonstration of high levels of teamwork and accountability.
Ability to take the lead on projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to present or speak to topics on internal/external meetings.
Make recommendations and advise internal teams in ways to best support the customer/membership.
Strong editing and proofreading skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education
BS/BA from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
