Role Overview:

As Manager of Content Strategy (MCS), you will lead a team of four to deliver best in class LinkedIn strategy and service for a diverse portfolio of B2B clients. This role is a blend of people management and high-level client strategy.

The MCS role demands very strong client service skills. The day-to-day is a fast paced combination of resolving client issues, coaching team members, onboarding clients, hiring team members, leading internal team meetings, providing high level B2B marketing strategy, and working to improve client service operations and processes.

The success of this role is ultimately measured by client retention. The MCS reports directly to the Director of Client Service and is the linchpin of the client service team.

Key Responsibilities: ? Hire, train, and manage a team of three Content Strategists and one Copywriter (we call this a ?Pod?). ? Lead internal pod meetings and 1:1 staff meetings aimed at tracking results and improving team performance. ? Lead pod to deliver best in class LinkedIn strategy and service for a diverse portfolio of clients. ? Track client satisfaction and team efficiency. ? Represent pod to leadership in weekly meetings. ? Build and improve client service processes. ? Develop deep and trusting relationships with clients. ? Provide expert level consultation and strategy in monthly client meetings. ? Develop and maintain strong knowledge of LinkedIn and B2B marketing strategy. ? Lead new client onboarding and, on occasion, client offboarding. ? Lead client upsells as needed. ? Take quick action when client issues arise and work to create solutions that maintain client trust and reduce client churn. ? Check in with clients monthly to determine satisfaction with service. ? Ensure that company values are upheld across the team and body of work. ? Show flexibility in backfilling various roles across the pod as needed. ? Manage creative contractors and a best in class tech stack.

? Must embody our core values (see below)
? 3+ years of marketing/advertising agency client service experience
? 1+ years of experience managing a team of 2 or more
? Strong leadership skills with high emotional intelligence
? Ambitious attitude with desire to grow into leadership role
? In-depth knowledge of digital marketing (ideally B2B)
? Highly organized, capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously
? Exceptional writing ability and a keen creative eye
? A self-motivated individual who thrives in a startup agency environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes
? Extremely reliable with a demonstrated history of operating under tight deadlines
? Very strong client-facing communication skills. Highly likable with the ability to engage and manage client expectations effectively.
