This position reports to the Manager, Component Maintenance, Outside Repair (OSR). The Lead Program Manager is responsible for the supervision and leadership of OSR Repair Coordinators and Auditors, managing planning, tracking and execution for all CM vendor managed repairs. The Lead Program Manager manages the day to day... responsibilities include the following: review/negotiate solutions to issues related to program/contracts, working with operations, material planners/analysts, suppliers, engineering, engine services, tech analyst and material management; tracks supplier performance in terms of cost, quality and delivery goals; proactively manages the material programs for the best operating and financial results for Delta while ensuring compliance with all Delta and FAA policies and procedures. This position will leverage existing internal and external resources, processes and infrastructure to manage the assigned material programs. This position also develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment that results in employee safety and well-being.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
? Component Maintenance vendor management experience highly preferred.
? Should have strong business acumen including structured problem solving, analytical skills, data analysis and solid understanding of business management concepts.
? Should possess strong operational, technical and leadership skills.
? Should have a thorough understanding of FARs, Deltas Policies and Procedures, TOPP compliance standards, operations, maintenance and reliability programs.
? Should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (both internal and external).
? Should be highly motivated and have ability to support business directives to reach common goals.
? Should be an excellent team player.
? Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required; must have a minimum of 3 years relevant leadership experience in a technical discipline.
? Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
? Must have working knowledge of Tech Ops information systems: MIRS, GEM, SAP, DBMS, BRIO and TechOps homepage navigation.
? Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
? Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
? Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
? Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
? Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
