How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Lead AMT is responsible for the day-to-day operations, to ensure production and customer goals are achieved. The job includes but is not limited to: entering time and attendance records, monitoring production, communicating daily expectations to team, supervising shop production, providing training to shop personnel, maintaining cell metric boards, assisting shop personnel with repair processes, determining root cause for defects, administering performance evaluations, and completing assignments given by the Product Line Manager. Develops strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Additionally, the Lead AMT is responsible for maintaining a current knowledge of applicable procedures and methods relating to aircraft/engine maintenance components, as well as applicable inspection procedures, methods and specifications. This lead position performs administrative functions delegated by the Product Line Manager.

Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks)
? Coordinates assigned maintenance tasks with other skills and departments to meet established ready times.
? Evaluates workload to ensure efficient manpower utilization.
? Supervises and assists Maintenance personnel.
? Informs personnel of company and/or departmental policy and procedure changes.
? Ensures personnel receive technical training and qualifications required to perform the departmental maintenance tasks.
? Leads continuous improvement teams to achieve cost and turn time reductions.
? Ensures recurrent training is accomplished where required.
? Verifies and records payroll.
? Assists in performing employee evaluations.
? Monitors Maintenance personnel to ensure conformance to acceptable appearance and conduct standards.
? Assists in resolving any company or personnel problems.
? Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $65.26 with a potential maximum entry rate of $65.26. The ability to reach the maximum hourly rate is dependent upon several other offered premiums (Examples would include but not limited to - Airframe and Powerplant license, Shift differential, Station location differential, Line Maintenance differential, Skill differential).

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

? Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

? Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
? Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating/fixed shifts, holidays and weekends.
? Should meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions, including the ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
? Certain duties may require working in confined spaces for a periodic time.
? Must be able to read and write at a level to enable him/her to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
? Must possess in-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.
? Must be a leader, capable of pursuing the development of each assigned Aviation Maintenance Technician to their fullest potential.
? Must have the ability to plan, lay out and direct Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the performance of their duties, as well as the ability to lead people in all circumstances involving the daily job requirements.
? Must have an FAA Airframe and Power plant license.
? Must be an AMT or higher classification.
? Must be able to pass an extensive background check, drug test and audiogram.
? Must have a valid driver's license.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)
? Green/Black belt certification or completion within 1 year of position.
? Experience with SAP, MIRS, data warehouse.
? Bachelors Degree or 5 years of related experience
