Whole Foods Market strives to deliver exceptional grocery delivery services to our Prime Now customers, as we aim to expand this program. You'll be a member of the Store Support team as an In-Store Shopper, assisting with Prime Now customer orders to be delivered or picked up. Your role includes shopping for a variety of items, such as household goods and food, among others.

To ensure we can cater to our customer's demands, it is imperative that we have a malleable timetable. We are in need of Team Members who enjoy working on the weekends, particularly Saturday and Sunday, when traffic is at its peak. Our ideal employee would be available to work on holidays, evenings, and other time slots outside of regular hours.

Availability Requirements: ? The schedule for team members is provided with a notice of 3 weeks in advance ? The typical duration of a shift falls within the range of 4 to 8 hours

Job Requirements: ? The convenience of using mobile devices to handle orders is undeniable ? Online orders are handled efficiently, accurately and with promptness ? Thorough, ensuring precision in product and order details ? A strong desire to attain knowledge about the products, service standards, and store operations is important ? Keeping the staging area neat and tidy without any disarray or chaos is an important skill ? Flexibility to assist in various sections of the store as the need arises, such as customer service, cash handling, and produce or frozen food aisles.

Basic Qualifications: ? The requirement is that you should have attained the age of 18 years ? Basic English reading and speaking skills ? The job requires the physical capacity to carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, maintain a standing or walking position for at least 6 hours, and regularly execute bodily movements like pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation ? A diploma awarded for the completion of high school or an equivalent program is an important milestone in one's academic journey

The job demands certain physical requirements and working conditions:
? The ability to carry 50 pounds of weight is a requirement.
? The typical 8-hour work day involves standing and walking for a duration of 6-8 hours, with sitting comprising only 1-4 hours of the day.
? When it comes to hand usage, there are several types of actions that come into play, including the ability to grasp objects with a single hand.
? In order to perform job duties, individuals are required to execute a variety of movements such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
? Contact with cleansing agents endorsed by the FDA.
? The impact of different temperatures on our surroundings is substantial, particularly when it revolves around degrees Fahrenheit.
? Willingness to work a schedule that is adaptable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the situation calls for it.
? Proficiency in operating various tools and equipment such as electric pallet jacks, box cutters, and other heavy machinery.
? Ladders may be necessary for this task.

Upon completion of the initial 90-day employment period and continued active employment in an applicable position, newly hired Team Members may qualify for a salary boost.
