We have a full-time need for a I&R Technician - Fiber where the main responsibilities include installing fiber optic internet services, delivering top-quality service, and providing product training to both residential and commercial customers.

What You?ll Do
• Installation of aerial fiber optic cables from servicing terminals to demarcation at the customer's premises
• Clean and connect fiber cable at the FSAI, MST, and ONT
• May climb & work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, lift trucks) exceeding 18-feet
• May perform strenuous physical activities including but not limited to lifting objects weighing over 75 pounds
• May perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather)
• Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required

What You?ll Need
• Must have your own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack
• Must be truck and tooled
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Must have valid driver?s license and good driving record
• Must have an android smart phone
• Strong customer communication skills & the ability to explain technical issues to customers is needed
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Includes lace-up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, hard hat, reflective vest, fall resistor, & safety cones
• Other equipment may be required by local management
