HR MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Role and Summary...
The main job of an HR Manager is to come up with effective human resource strategies that would align with the overall business goals. They acts as a communication bridge between employees and executives by addressing the concerns of the employees to the management and vice versa. Lastly, an HR Manager also handles the screening, recruitment, and interview processes. A Human Resource Officer is a bridge that connects workforce needs with employer requirements. They act as mediators between employees and the organization.
A. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plans human resource strategies that could help the employees to reach the business objective.
2. Acts as the point of communication between the executives and employees to address their concerns and grievances properly.
3. Actively participates in filtering, interviewing, and hiring new company employees.
4. Enhances the employee?s human capital to support the present and future business needs.
5. Nurtures a collaborative, impartial, and positive working environment at all times.
6. Establishes performance appraisal systems to inspire employees to work hard.
7. Copes with the regulated pay plans and benefit programs for employees.
8. Observes training sessions and provides the necessary training supplies.
9. Evaluates the performance of employees and comes up with impartial judgments adhering to the HR metrics.
10.Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
11.Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
12.Assist in performance management processes.
13.Develop training and development programs.
14.Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
15.Administering employee benefits.
B. Skills
1. Knowledgeable in labor laws, HR practices, and other elements related to human resource management.
2. Good interpersonal skills, people-oriented, and results-driven to prioritize the employee?s well-being.
3. Superior leadership skills and the ability to generate and implement effective strategies.
4. Capable of listening, understanding, and negotiating with employees to come up with impartial judgments according to the HR metrics
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay information effectively to the employees and management.
6. Strong managerial and interpersonal skills for implementing professional relationships across different levels in the company.
7. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
C. Qualifications
1. A bachelor's degree in human resource management, human resource information systems, and other related fields.
2. With proven experience as an HR Manager for at least 3 years.
3. Certifications from accredited organizations such as the PHR, HRMP, or HRBP is an advantage.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
