Become a member of our family, and we will provide you with a paid 8-hour self-paced course to become a Certified Caregiver at no cost to you (if you are already a CNA, you will not be required to complete this course). Responsibilities
? Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
? Perform basic health care services for clients, including checking vital signs or providing medication reminders.
? Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor?s appointments, walks, etc.)
? Plan and prepare meals
? Assist with range of motion/physical therapy exercises
? Accompany Clients on errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up prescribed medications, and/or doctor appointments. Provide transportation as needed
? Help with general light housekeeping, including changing the bedsheets, laundry, taking out the trash, etc.
? Observe and report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
? Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members.
? Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
? Enjoy working one-on-one, eager to improve, and continuously learn new skills.
? Previous experience as a home health aide, in-home caregiver, CNA, or another medical professional in the healthcare field (Min of 1-2 yrs)
? Ability to pass a SLED background check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
? Have or be willing to have a TB test or Chest X-ray
? Valid driver?s license and own reliable transportation every single day
? Ability to think and work both independently and with direction
? Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
? Take pride in providing high-quality care
? Hoyer Lift Experience, Feeding Tube, Colostomy/Catheter Care, Bowel Program (not required, specific to client)

? Personal protective equipment provided
? Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
? COVID-19 Vaccine strongly encouraged
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
