We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join a supportive school district near Mitchell, IN, for the upcoming school year. In this role, you will provide personalized education and support to elementary school students, focusing on creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of your caseload.

Location: Mitchell, IN

Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 6th grade

Caseload: Approximately 25 students

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student growth and success.

Provide instructional materials and adapt teaching techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.

Deliver some direct instruction, ensuring students receive the necessary support and attention to thrive academically.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

Active Special Education Teaching Certification in the state of Indiana is required.
