Healthcare Management Consultant - Indianapolis Health (Remote)

Overview
A Milliman Healthcare Management Consultant serves a diverse array of clients including health insurance companies, government agencies, healthcare providers, and healthcare purchasers. This role will contribute to a wide range of engagements but will be focused on developing and delivering provider network analytics, health plan performance measurement, and strategy solutions, in... addition to, managed care plan oversight services.

Example Projects Include
? Evaluate health plan networks and associated access and adequacy
? Evaluation and monitoring of managed Medicaid health plan performance
? Conduct a market study to evaluate the feasibility of launching a new product
? Develop administrative cost estimates and assessments in support of health plans and state entities
? Evaluate a client?s administrative operations to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
? Design a pricing model and marketing strategy for a new product
? Write a proposal to help a client win a new block of business
? Helping a client prepare for accreditation or meet government requirements
Responsibilities
? Manage the development of provider network analytics solutions and services
? Lead the development of managed care plan oversight solutions and services
? Support clients on program strategy, design, development, and implementation
? Communicate results and facilitate discussions with clients and other stakeholders as needed to help clients develop their desired policy options
? Manage the development of new processes, products, and solutions to meet client needs
? Be responsible for project management and tracking; may act as an overall project leader or work in conjunction with other team members to staff larger projects
? Prepare reports and develop engaging presentation materials
? Keep abreast of trends and regulatory changes affecting clients
? Ensure quality control processes and procedures are followed
Qualifications
? 10 years of healthcare consulting experience in a similar role, or related experience with involvement leading data analysis projects
? Superior problem-solving capabilities and learning agility
? Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects at any given time
? Ability to work within a team environment and independently manage own work
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Excellent computer skills
Preferred
? Experience with provider networks, access measurement, and analytics
? Experience translating technical requirements and business analytics

You will work in a matrix environment, learning from seasoned consultants and gaining exposure to projects across a range of clients and engagement types. Our consultants are solution-focused leaders who help clients develop and implement strategies for protecting and growing profitable market share, diversifying their businesses, and leveraging their assets.
Location
This is a remote position. Candidates hired into this role may work onsite in select Milliman office locations, if they prefer.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $107,000 to $243,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If overall experience is less than 15 years the range would be $107,000 to $217,000; for experience of greater than 15 years, the range would be $120,000 to $243,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus-plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
