Responsibilities: ? Tote-to-tote transfers are a common practice in inbound receiving, which involves transferring materials between totes in order to consolidate items and optimize storage space ? Perform your pick and pack duties in the outbound department by ensuring that products are stored in the correct temperature environment, such as the chilled, ambient, or freezer section ? Dispatching assistance is necessary for the fulfillment center to ensure that customer orders are efficiently loaded and moved ? Implementing performance metrics and using them to track progress can enable individuals and teams to remain on track and accountable for their productivity results ? Be versatile and multi-skilled enough to effectively operate in different positions within the inbound, outbound, and dispatch areas ? Resolve any smaller issues that may arise during production or request assistance from higher-ups if necessary ? A culture of following strict quality and accuracy guidelines ensures that customers are always satisfied with their orders running smoothly ? Adhere to operational protocols in your work area to maximize your output ? Adhere to safety and food safety guidelines, and report any unsafe machines or health and safety risks to supervisors ? Foster a culture of innovation and creativity by encouraging team members to share new ideas and concepts. This can be facilitated through team brainstorming sessions or ideation workshops ?
