Field Applications Engineer - IoT / Embedded (Remote)

Joining the FAE team means playing an important part in providing technical expertise and aiding in pre-sales efforts for IoT and Cloud solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
? Offer advanced software development, technical assistance, and consultation to support sales by providing technologies that demonstrate current trends
? Execute high-quality technical product demonstrations for current and potential customers, providing detailed information and answering questions to help with decision-making
? Help the internal sales team by providing technical expertise and support to improve the sales process
? Troubleshooting
? To support marketing efforts and virtual events, it is crucial to create compelling content and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations
Requirements
? A wealth of knowledge in software development built upon years of experience using C/C++ as a primary programming language
? Embedded development on Unix and Linux requires knowledge of C/C++ programming, as these languages are used primarily for developing embedded applications
? Familiarity with protocols used in the Internet of Things, including Bacnet, LWM2M, modbus, OPC-UA, and others, is essential for anyone working with connected devices and systems
? A thorough knowledge of the intricacies of both ARM and x86 architecture can be a great advantage to those involved in computer forensics, as it can help with the identification of potential causes of system failures or cyberattacks
? As a technical sales support representative, I provided valuable expertise in Real-Time/Embedded Systems to clients seeking solutions for their business needs
? Excellent problem-solving skills

? Working with tools that are used in the development process of embedded systems has been integral to my career. I have vast experience with the different components that make up an embedded development toolchain, including the compiler, debugger, and IDE
? With the constant threat of cyber attacks, organizations need to have a deep understanding of security technologies such as PKI and HSM to protect their valuable assets
? Understanding of Rest API and its role in web services is essential for software development
? Embedded safety and security systems can be customized and tailored to meet the specific needs of an organization, further enhancing their effectiveness
