### **Job Description:**
As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Disney, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the maintenance operations of our diverse facilities globally. This position involves coordinating with local and international teams to ensure all maintenance activities are executed flawlessly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for monitoring the condition of facilities, scheduling routine inspections and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and building codes. The role requires excellent communication skills as you will coordinate with various departments, external contractors, and maintenance teams to address and resolve issues swiftly.
Additionally, you will manage maintenance logs and reports, propose budget recommendations for repairs and upgrades, and participate in the planning and implementation of facility expansions or modifications. Your ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively will be key to your success in this role.
### **Responsibilities:**
1. Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations of facilities.
2. Schedule and confirm maintenance and repair work with contractors and in-house teams.
3. Ensure all facilities meet safety standards and comply with regulations.
4. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, budgets, and inventory.
5. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to determine repair or replacement needs.
6. Collaborate with facility managers and other stakeholders to align maintenance activities with organizational goals.
7. Provide timely updates and reports to management on maintenance status and issues.
### **Requirements:**
1. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
3. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Familiarity with maintenance management software.
7. Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
### **Educational Qualifications:**
– High school diploma required.
– Certification or degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
### **Experience:**
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or management.
