The Vice President of Enterprise Applications will join a fast-paced organization involved in realizing industry-changing technology solutions. We are looking for an excellent leader, strategist, collaborator, and communicator who can lead and manage an organization implementing and supporting a portfolio of enterprise SaaS applications. This position will require a strong mix of business acumen and technical experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of a large staffing company's business functions and operations and the systems that support them. They will work directly with senior and executive business leaders to develop strategies, architectures, and technical approaches to achieve business objectives. Additionally, they will lead a team of technical resources dedicated to implementing software to meet the strategic goals of the company and the operational needs of all business functions.

This individual will be responsible for providing the vision, strategies, goals, and roadmaps to implement the systems needed by the company. They will provide the leadership for organizing, planning, and executing the enterprise applications roadmaps. The candidate for this role fully understands business strategy and operations, consults on business process optimization, and defines the roadmaps for the application technology portfolio. Further, the candidate effectively communicates technology strategy, standards, solutions, and processes to stakeholders, including our Executive Team Board.

Responsibilities: ? Define the strategy for our enterprise applications, including Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ERP, and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems considering the company's platform and its focus on growing our ecosystem. Maintain the strategy current with annual updates, ensuring it determines the preference for COTS applications and systems and where customizations and company-developed applications should be applied. ? Develop roadmaps for all development and implementation work in annual increments, maintaining a 2 to 3-year forecast. Both the enterprise application strategy and the roadmaps should be aligned with the overall company strategy and goals. Additionally, ensure roadmaps are fully documented and shared with Executive Staff, the company's Board, the Technology and Transformation function, and key company stakeholders. ? Guide the execution of the roadmaps leading to predictable delivery, high quality, and expected value. Ensure that all projects generate the necessary metrics to manage delivery performance. ? Working with peer leaders, guide the architecture and delivery of the components needed by all enterprise applications to contribute to the company's platform fully. This development should aim to meet the objectives of the platform and the company's services ecosystem. ? Provide applications and systems integration strategies for all acquisitions. These strategies require due diligence assessments, pre-merger plans and budgets, and active participation in the first 100-day integration activities. Help develop long-term integration plans and oversee the execution of application integration efforts. ? Manage dotted-line relationships with the IT leaders in our business units resulting from acquisitions. This responsibility includes assistance in forming satellite IT organizations, hiring leaders, and providing direction and advice on their strategies, technologies, and projects. Of high importance is the participation of the business units in the common technology platform. ? Organize the Enterprise Applications structure and teams. Work with leaders to ensure development plans are in place and support is in place for everyone in the team to achieve personal and professional goals. ? Instill a mindset of accountability, continuous improvement, transparency, collaboration, psychological safety, and agility in the Enterprise Applications organization. Provide the vision for the organization and develop an ethos consistent with the company's Core Values. ? Build relationships with key business stakeholders and understand their business objectives and processes. Develop systems and process improvement strategies in partnership with business functions. Function as the primary liaison between Tech and the business functions, defining digital services, capturing associated performance metrics, and communicating operational impacts and results. ? Work closely with business partners to ensure consistency in definitions of scope, budgets, and timeframes for all roadmaps and their associated projects.

Required Experience:
? 15+ years of comprehensive information technology and software development experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
? 5+ years at senior director or VP level in a multi-function/multi-technology IT organization conducting significant software development and implementing COTS application packages.
? Strong understanding of business functions and operations, particularly all aspects of sales, marketing, finance, talent management, and HRIS. This understanding includes but is not limited to talent acquisition and onboarding, talent management, benefits administrations, employee scheduling, time tracking, attendance, absence management, payroll processing, and billing.
? Experience in the staffing industry is highly desirable, including knowledge of staffing platforms such as Bullhorn and TargetRecruit. Additionally, familiarity with healthcare in clinical settings would be a plus.
? Experience with Salesforce, MS Dynamics CE, or another major CRM platform to support staffing processes. In addition, experience implementing ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Fusion, and MS Dynamics F&O, and expertise in selecting and implementing HCM systems such as UltiPro, UKG Dimensions, Workday, and Ceridian.
? Proven leadership and management skills. Ability to hire and develop teams, problem solve, and work independently. Also, demonstrable change management experience. Ability to lead cross-functional execution in digital transformation initiatives.
? Enthusiastic and visionary leader with a strong drive to create a positive work environment. Ability to think strategically. Also, strong collaborator, communicator, and influencer. Ability to communicate in an effective, non-technical manner, both verbally and in written form.
? Experience building and maintaining financial budgets and operational metrics associated with software development, project execution, and SaaS operational performance.
