Responsibilities
We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to support. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of Early Childhood Special Educator and Service Coordination services, focusing on infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months old. These services, mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, include:
Coordinating services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, education, and counseling intervention for eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities, emphasizing family-centered care.
Participating in various activities including child find initiatives, development and modification of Individualized Family Service Plans, consultation on integration into child care settings, evaluation and instruction in the use of assistive technology devices, and family screenings to determine additional intervention needs.
Assessing and modifying family and/or day care environments to enhance patient development, adapting intervention and treatment plans according to evolving patient and family needs, and participating in treatment planning, family conferences, and discharge planning sessions as required.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
Certification: Current unrestricted state certification or licensure.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator within the last five (5) years.
Additional Information
US Citizenship and active clearance are required for this position.
