As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within our Strategic Sourcing department. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to June 2025. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship. What will you do: Perform data analysis to find opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service and compliance) Perform liaison work between Strategic Sourcing and key clients, ensuring efficient supply chain methods Provide support for sourcing projects, including... data analysis and supplier interface Facilitate supplier presentations Develop and implement eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs/eAuctions Participate in supplier negotiations Perform external market assessment and opportunity analysis Develop and handle partner and supplier relationships and contract implementations Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives and priorities. Interns in this department may assist with any of the following teams Design and Construction Facility & Operations Services Fixtures, Furnishing & Equipment Food and Beverage Marketing & Graphics Professional Services Walt Disney Imagineering Supplier Diversity Required Qualifications & Skills: Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision Professional demeanor, focused, eloquent and well organized Education: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking?t least one?lass in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR?ust have graduated from a college/university within? months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a?isney College Program or Disney Internship. Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred attending a college/university earning a bachelor?s or master?s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics, Economics, Finance or related. Cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding) Eligibility Requirements & Program Information: Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:?Be at least 18 years of?ge Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or?rogram.?Possess unrestricted work?uthorization Additional information: Location of position: This position may have opportunities in Anaheim, CA Transportation and Housing: Must provide reliable transportation and own housing. The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour for undergraduate students and $30.40 per hour for graduate students.
