About the Design Team

Our Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology Design team is responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences across sports, entertainment, business, UX, creative services, and design research. We deliver brand-specific customer experiences, develop cohesive user journeys within product families, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and other business partners. You'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary design team where you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various design specialists and contribute to the creation of innovative products that people love to use.

What You Will Do

As a Design Intern, you'll work with teams and projects based in California. This internship provides exposure to Disney?s design innovation process. You'll collaborate with our design team and leadership to support efforts for Hulu & Disney+, as well as some of the world?s most beloved brands including ABC, ABC News, Disney, ESPN, Freeform, FX, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star Wars.

Collaborate on one or more projects, receiving mentorship from our design team, and presenting your work to the broader team.

Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and one-on-one discussions with various team members.

Present innovative ideas for any of the digital products we support.

Assist the design team with daily design tasks and deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and industry best practices.

Self-driven problem solver with excellent communication skills.

Strong work ethic, dependable, adaptable, and collaborative.
