Data Analyst (Disney Streaming)

About the Role

The Disney Streaming Information and Analytics team is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Advanced Analytics, Content team. In this role, you?ll apply analytical expertise to optimize our content portfolio and refine marketing and release strategies. Key Responsibilities

Use advanced analytics techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning) on large-scale datasets to support strategic decision-making.

Analyze customer behavior patterns (e.g., viewing preferences) to identify unmet needs and new content opportunities.

Forecast content engagement metrics to guide acquisition decisions.

Enhance content launch timing and release strategies to maximize audience engagement.

Test and evaluate marketing strategies to improve audience retention and engagement.

Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for tactical and strategic decisions.

Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to propel business objectives.

Present findings through compelling data storytelling to drive insights across the organization.

What You?ll Bring

Bachelor?s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years? experience in data analysis, with proven ability in handling complex data.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python for data analysis.

Familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., decision trees, regression, clustering).

Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in addressing open-ended challenges.

Exceptional data storytelling skills through written, visual, and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Master?s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.

A strong passion for Media and Entertainment, with knowledge of the industry trends and challenges.
