Role Overview
As a Director of Strategic Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our VPs to enhance our clients' digital marketing maturity. Your primary focus will be on providing strategic guidance and implementing omni-channel strategies for brands and therapeutic areas. Your responsibilities will span from serving as a trusted advisor to clients to supporting new business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, leveraging marketing insights, strategic consulting expertise, and technology to address core business challenges.
Translate strategic omnichannel journeys into actionable technology implementations, ensuring seamless execution.
Contribute to proprietary methodologies for assessing clients' needs, conducting stakeholder interviews, and interpreting data to derive insights.
Support new business development efforts by demonstrating the value of digital transformation and contributing to proposal development.
Analyze and visualize data to identify trends and opportunities for program optimization.
Develop campaign measurement decks, formulate optimization recommendations, and define client strategies and tactics.
Manage project scope and deliverables across multiple accounts, while mentoring junior resources.
Stay abreast of market research, industry best practices, and emerging solutions applicable to clients' business needs.
Collaborate with the analytics team to develop measurement plans and business pro-formas.
Education
Background and Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in management consulting, CRM, digital marketing/media within the Oncology pharmaceutical industry (agency or blend of agency & client setting).
Skills And Attributes
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ownership mentality focused on delivering value to clients.
Deep understanding of healthcare marketing channels and segmentation strategies.
Familiarity with social media and third-party communications in the healthcare sector.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical datasets, such as APLD.
Excellent client management and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
Travel Requirements
20%-30% annually, occasional on-site presence at client locations may be required.
