About the position

As a leader of the Electrolux Sales Team for the Lowe's Home Improvement Account, this role is responsible for all Refrigeration and Laundry sales and merchandising activities affiliated with this account. The individual will coordinate all marketing and operational activities in support of these sales efforts. This position is crucial for ensuring that the selling, merchandising, marketing, and operations activities associated with this account align with the overall corporate strategies for each of these functions. The Director will also be responsible for achieving all corporate goals, including volume, forecast, and financial metrics, making this role the main point of contact for the Lowe's account both internally and externally. The essential duties include strategic leadership and development of the Electrolux/Lowe's Sales Team, with profit and loss responsibility for the channel. The Director will create overall pricing strategies and oversee their implementation in conjunction with the corresponding Merchandising Teams. Accurate unit volume, revenue, and financial forecasting, tracking, and communication for the channel are also key responsibilities. The role requires collaboration with the Merchandising Team to ensure successful implementation of Electrolux/Lowe's line review and tech review strategies in accordance with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, the Director will work with the Product Line/Innovation Team to develop sound processes leading to a robust innovation and generation plan in support of the Lowe's channel. Timely and accurate implementation of all Lowe's sales and merchandising initiatives is critical, as is participation in internal groups and committees to ensure appropriate levels of coordination across functions. The Director will also work with the National Account Operations Team to ensure proper execution of all initiatives and will develop and deliver presentations in support of all key initiatives, both internally and externally. Travel will be necessary to attend internal and external meetings, seminars, and product councils in support of the Lowe's Sales Channel, along with market visits as needed. The role emphasizes developing and fostering a collaborative, rewarding team atmosphere across all channel functions, utilizing and providing leadership to the National Accounts Field Sales team to ensure accurate and timely implementation of all training and projects. Maintaining data integrity on items such as pricing, VSI, CTS, and item set-up is also a critical function of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business Administration or Marketing

? MBA preferred
,
? 7+ years of sales, merchandising and marketing experience, preferably with 3+ years in national accounts
,
? Prior managerial experience
,
? Solid analytical and organizational skills
,
? Experience in financial analysis
,
? Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
,
? Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
,
? Proven competency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
,
? Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines, multi-tasking and attention to detail
