The Director of Amazon and Chewy Account Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the growth and profitability of the Amazon and Chewy accounts. This individual will lead a team focused on optimizing e-commerce performance, managing vendor relationships, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across these major... retail platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Leadership:

?Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for Amazon and Chewy, aligning with overall business goals.

?Set and achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets for the Amazon and Chewy channels.

?Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to execute promotional, customer marketing, and digital media plans that drive traffic, clicks, conversion and brand equity.

?Manage the promotional calendar and search strategies to attract new households, improve retention rates, and drive auto-ship rates.

?Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform strategy.

?Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment, inventory management, and demand planning.

Team Leadership

?Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

?Ensure alignment and effective communication between team and other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance.

Vendor and Relationship Management:

?Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Amazon and Chewy.

?Negotiate terms, contracts, and promotional agreements to optimize profitability and partnership value.

?Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, troubleshooting, and resolution of account-related issues.

?Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations aligned with approved customer plans.

?Oversee MAP policy and enforce marketplace guidelines to protect brand integrity.

E-commerce Performance Optimization:

?Oversee the development and implementation of strategies to maximize product visibility, conversion rates, and sales on Amazon and Chewy.

?Ensure the effective management of product listings, inventory, pricing, promotions, and advertising campaigns.

?Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and implement corrective actions as needed.

?Ensure compliance with platform policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Reporting and Analytics:

?Provide regular reports on account performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to Jinx Executive team.

?Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

?Manage the budget for the Amazon and Chewy accounts, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

?Conduct benchmarking to assess retail execution against competitors and oversee competitive positioning and pricing strategies to enhance market share and customer engagement.

Qualifications:

?Education: Bachelor?s degree required

?Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in e-commerce account management, with a focus on Amazon 1P and Chewy.

?Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and internal teams.

?Authorization to work in the U.S required

Skills:

?Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in e-commerce.

?Strong leadership and team management skills.

?Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

?Deep understanding of Amazon or Chewy platforms, including their algorithms, advertising tools, and best practices.

?Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics tracking.

?Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail.
