POSITION SUMMARY:

Cybersecurity and aviation technology subject matter expert who will advance A4A membership interests by promulgating and advocating consensus policy positions on aviation cybersecurity and emerging technology issues before U.S. federal government agencies and various U.S. and international aviation community associations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Serve as cybersecurity, data information and emerging technology subject matter expert for Airlines for America. ? Lead working groups that report to the Cybersecurity Council, such as the Aircraft Information Security Program Working Group, Cybersecurity Policy Working Group or other forums that bring together member airline technical experts to discuss cybersecurity and emerging technology policy issues. ? Support the Managing Director in conducting technical reviews and helping facilitate the timely dissemination of information regarding regulatory and policy issues to members. ? Support developing and coordinating consensus policy positions among member airlines via written communications, teleconferences and face-to-face meetings. ? Draft educational and advocacy materials for governmental and public consumption and help arrange best practice visits to raise awareness and enhance public-private partnerships. ? Support routine communication with other key aviation cyber and technology stakeholders, including, but not limited to, A-ISAC, IATA, ACI-NA, AAAE, Chamber of Commerce, Original Equipment Manufacturers and key vendors focused on emerging technology. Enhance relationships with key U.S. government cybersecurity and data information and technology policymakers, including but not limited to DHS, CISA, TSA, FAA, DOD, etc. ? Provide subject matter expertise on emerging and operational technologies in aviation. ? Participate in and lead aviation standards setting organization working groups, panels and committees. ? Prepare written advocacy documents related to technical cybersecurity, data information and operational and emerging technology, including comments on proposed regulations, position papers, correspondence and testimony. ? Respond to questions from the public, air carriers and government agencies on technical cybersecurity, data information or emerging technology issues, including artificial intelligence
