Please note this is a 6-month, remote, W2 contract opportunity, only W2 candidates are allowed at this time. You must be outside 75 miles of Reston, VA or Dallas, TX to be eligible. Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement models to address business challenges and opportunities. ? Utilize data visualization techniques to present insights and findings effectively. ? Design algorithms and models to extract insights from big data stores, ensuring data accuracy and uniformity. ? Analyze data trends and patterns with clear objectives in mind, identifying actionable insights. ? Collaborate with data strategy and engineering teams to understand reporting needs and develop infrastructure solutions. ? Enable smarter business processes by providing meaningful analytics and insights. ? Identify relevant data sources and collect structured and unstructured datasets for analysis. ? Transform complex data structures into usable relational solutions for reporting purposes. Qualifications: ? 1+ years of experience in data modeling and analysis. ? Ability to translate high-level business requirements into data flow diagrams. ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. ? Knowledge of data modeling tools such as ERWIN (post-graduate degree desired for positions requiring 3+ years of experience). ? Proficiency in data mining, cleaning, and normalization techniques. ? Advanced experience with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau. ? Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JSON programming languages for ETL processing. ? Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Spectrum. ? Demonstrated expertise in pattern recognition and predictive modeling. ? Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Solid knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
