The Data & Analytics Solution Specialist - Americas is a senior sales role within our enterprise sales organization.?You will work with Enterprise customers to modernize their data estate, as well as provide end-to-end analytics solutions to help the largest and most complex companies in the Americas across all industries successfully adopt these services and realize value. Microsoft Analytics Solution Specialists? main goal is to win the sales and technical decision within strategic customers and lead these engagements to successful deployment. You will lead strategic Cloud Scale Analytics customer engagements that will require you to deliver and recommend solutions to meet both business and technical requirements through architectural design sessions, pilots support directly or through partners. The candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading sales and technical architecture discussions with CXO?s, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers.

Responsibilities
? Understand customers? overall Data estate, Data Governance, AI, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions).
? Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Analytics & Data Solutions.
? Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
? Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers.
? Collaborate with other Customer Engineers in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
? Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
? Be an Azure Platform evangelist for Analytics & Data scenarios like Modernizing your Data estate and migrating to the cloud, new end to end analytics solutions.
?Primary accountabilities for this role include:?
? 60% of your time will be spent as a key technical leader and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy, architect and adopt Microsoft Data & Analytics solutions. Being a member of the sales team, you will give technical briefings, demonstrations, help execute proof of concepts and design solutions leveraging partners as needed. You will directly support the market share and revenue growth of Microsoft Data & Analytics solutions through your sales and technical leadership in our customers.
? 20% of your time will be spent as a thought leader in the Data & Analytics space. You lead by participating in internal Microsoft technical communities and in the broader industry events and publishing blogs, whitepapers, reference architecture etc in your area of expertise.
? 20% of your time will be spent influencing the Microsoft Data & Analytics go to market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers you encounter?.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
? 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
? OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
? Experience with Analytics & Data Warehousing solutions (i.e. SQL DW, Netezza, Teradata, Exadata).
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
? 9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
? OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
? OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
? 6+ years solution or services sales experience.
? Cloud Certifications for Data & Analytics in Azure, or AWS or GCP.
Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $122,400 - $216,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $166,100 - $235,000 per year.
