The Data Analytics Consulting Analyst/Associate position is designed for candidates graduating in December 2024 or Summer 2025 with a strong academic focus on quantitative research fields such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, or Security Information Systems. This role is pivotal in using data analytics to enhance clients' understanding of key business, risk, strategic, or regulatory issues. In this position, you will manipulate and analyze large volumes of disparate data, often exceeding 100 million records, to develop critical insights for clients facing business disputes, regulatory matters, or complex litigation. You will be responsible for building statistical and machine learning models, as well as creating custom visualizations and applications to detect patterns, trends, outliers, and drivers among relevant business issues. The role also involves applying predictive analytics and statistical modeling techniques for various applications, including recommender systems and financial crime detection. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with business stakeholders and experts to develop innovative tools that support the evolving data landscape. You will also communicate your findings through visuals, data tables, and models, assisting in the development of final deliverables, reports, and presentations for clients. This position is not a technical IT role, but rather focuses on the application of data analytics in a consulting context, requiring a blend of analytical skills and effective communication.
Responsibilities
? Use data analytics to enhance clients' understanding of key business, risk, strategic, or regulatory issues.

? Manipulate and analyze large volumes of disparate data (>100MM records) to develop critical insights for clients' issues.

? Build statistical and machine learning models, or custom visualizations and applications to detect patterns, trends, outliers and drivers among relevant business issues.

? Apply predictive analytics, statistical modelling and machine learning/deep learning techniques for various applications.

? Assist with the collection, loading, standardization, and identification of relevant data for analysis.

? Communicate findings from analyses to team members through visuals, data tables and models, and assist with the development of final deliverables, reports, and presentations to clients.

? Work closely with business stakeholders and experts to develop new and innovative tools to support the evolving data landscape.
Requirements
? Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in a quantitative research field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, or Security Information Systems.

? Experience with relational database systems such as MS SQL Server or Oracle Database.

? Experience in executing data science methodologies using programming languages like Python, R, SAS, VBA, or Scala.

? Experience in data visualization using tools like Power BI, Tableau, D3.js, Qlik Sense, HTML/JavaScript.

? Experience in cloud-based platforms (e.g. Snowflake, AWS RedShift, Qubole, Azure).

? Knowledge of Natural Language Processing & Text Mining, Experimental Design, Bayesian Networks, or Network/Graph Mining.
