Customer Service Representative - Remote

As a pivotal... part of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service to a diverse group of individuals, including students, instructors, and other important stakeholders. You'll be the friendly voice on the phone, helping people register for courses, processing payments, and ensuring all data is accurately captured in our system.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage inbound calls with a focus on service excellence, meeting all regulatory requirements.
Navigate through various customer scenarios using training and resource materials to provide solutions.
Employ empathy and effective communication to manage customer interactions positively.
Handle customer inquiries via chat and email, ensuring all enrollment and completion issues are resolved.
Process payments securely, adhering to privacy and compliance standards.
Document interactions clearly in our business systems.
Engage in outbound calls for general inquiries or transaction completions.
Advocate for our self-service options to enhance customer experience.
Relay common customer feedback to management for continuous improvement.
Address returned mail promptly to maintain database accuracy.
Undertake additional tasks as needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has a high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a call center environment.
Exhibits a strong orientation towards teamwork and customer service excellence.
Demonstrates accuracy and integrity in data entry.
Is bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
Holds a bachelor's degree (preferred) and has experience with Microsoft Office.
Salary: $18.50/hr
This role is a hybrid position, offering flexibility with two days remote and three days in-office.
