Position: Computer Network Instructor (CCNA Classes)

Location: Southfield, MI

Job Description:
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Computer Network Instructors for CCNA classes held on weeknights and weekends. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction that empowers students to develop skills necessary for successful careers in network administration and engineering.

Skills:
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to engage effectively with students in a professional manner.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certifications in CCNA and/or CCNP OR CND.
• Eight years of relevant work experience in the IT sector.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and practices.

• Proficiency in CCNA and related networking technologies.

• Utilize adult learning methodologies to ensure content relevance and engage learners effectively.
• Maintain a learner-centric approach to instruction, ensuring that all training objectives are met.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect changes in technology and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

Qualifications:
• Minimum eight years of relevant professional experience in networking or related fields.
• Must possess CCNA and/or CCNP OR CND certifications.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Ability to create engaging instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Teaching certification or additional training in education or instructional design is a plus.

Education Requirements Credential Category:
• Degree in IT or a related discipline preferred; teaching credentials or advanced training in networking desirable.

Experience Requirements:
• Eight years of professional experience in network engineering or administration.
• Previous experience teaching or training adults in a classroom setting preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CCNA specified technologies essential for effective training delivery.
