About this Role

To help drive our mission, our Marketing team is looking for a new fractional team member in any North American time zone who will focus on helping our brand reach potential customers through written and visual content. As a technically-savvy marketer, you?ll play a pivotal role in building awareness with prospective clients by creating content that engages the market by being relevant, thought-leading, and sophisticated. You?ll be a strategic thinker, a tech enthusiast, and a passionate advocate for how Gun.io offers the best hiring experience for software developers and businesses alike.

Responsibilities
? Create effective content across written and visual mediums that drives awareness with prospective customers.
? Manage a robust content calendar to ensure a consistent pipeline of new marketing collateral and assets.
? Leverage industry knowledge to direct messaging strategies within small- and medium-scale marketing events (webinars, customer dinners, conferences, etc.).
? Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry developments to enable us to deliver informed and relevant content.
? Collaborate with the sales and product teams to align on messaging and product updates.
? Drive the Talent Community programs to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of Developers and Companies.
? Develop a deep understanding of our product and create a motion to evangelize key product updates and features for both talent and companies.
? Conduct regular check-ins with customers and developers and leads to gather insight into the effectiveness of our content & community strategies and initiatives.
? Track and analyze engagement metrics to inform content & community strategies and improve performance.

Qualifications
? 5+ years of experience in a marketing or content-related role with a focus on technology and/or the hiring landscape.
? 5+ years of experience in a technical role.
? Strong understanding of technology trends and the software development landscape.
? Deep understanding of technology trends and the hiring landscape therein.
? Exceptional communication and writing skills.
? Proven ability to create engaging and sophisticated content across a variety of mediums.
? Data-driven with the ability to analyze content engagement metrics.
? Passionate about technology and the future of work.
? Highly organized with strong project management skills.
? A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
