Job Description
As a Claims Data Entry Clerk at American Express, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our claims processing is accurate and efficient. Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor?s degree preferred.
? Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a claims processing or financial services environment.
? Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with data management software.
? Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in data.
? Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
? Accurately enter data related to customer claims into the company database.
? Review and verify claim submissions for completeness and accuracy.
? Maintain and update records as necessary, ensuring that all information is current and correct.
? Generate reports on claim statuses and data entry metrics as required.
