Job Description:

Markel is seeking a Chat Support Assistant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a part-time, work-from-home position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. Responsibilities:
• Provide chat support to customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct research to find solutions to customer problems and provide accurate information
• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies
• Assist with other customer service tasks as needed

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in using chat support software and other customer service tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
