What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Develop new capabilities expanding the suite of remote assistance tools
• Work directly with users to brainstorm ways to increase operator efficiency
• Implement strategies to improve connectivity between robots and operators
• Evaluate new hardware including modems, antennas, and cameras
• Design management systems for a fleet of autonomous vehicles
What is Required (Qualifications):
• Experience in computer networks, cellular networks, low latency video streaming, computer vision, game development, or backend microservices
• In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, Linux networking stack, communication protocols, and video codecs
• Strong C++ experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Prior experience in the self-driving vehicle space
