What you?ll be doing...The Associate Director-Software Development is responsible for leading and managing the Call Center and Store applications in Value business. The leader will be responsible for managing a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality products and services. The role requires partnering with the business units to establish goals, influence and effectively communicate the vision set by senior leadership. This includes working closely with a cross-functional team of architects, site reliability engineers, software developers to develop and deliver substantial business value through Northstar Architecture (NSA) tech stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and best practices, as well as experience in managing large-scale applications. Providing technical leadership and business-related subject matter expertise on large, highly complex projects on multiple channels, including Value Customer Service and distribution channelsLeading Center of Excellence for Call Center and store channels with responsibility of delivering end-to-end solutions for both Sales and Service flowsResponsible for store channels Exclusive Retail Store, Agent Retail, and National Retailers, working closely with the business partners in designing, and implementing partner programs to help partners successfully sell Value products and services. Leading and delivering programs in a product-based Agile structure. Demonstrate and be the champion of the product-based Agile methodologies. Maintaining functional/technical requirements, analyze hardware/software features and enhancements and understand system architectures, operations, end-to-end designs and device-system interactions.Managing the relationship with vendors to drive improved quality and reliability as well as on time delivery of products and services.Establishing objectives, creating road maps, and aligning with key business partners and stakeholders to ensure delivery of customer care & store organizational goals.Leading emerging technology direction, facilitating key decision points, converting requirements into working product outcomes and drive integration with various vendor products.Driving DevOps implementation including ideation, business case, design, stakeholder management, development, trials and delivery using industry standard processes and tools.Partnering with the Global Delivery teams to create and optimize cross channel experience.Delivering results within budget, time, quality and strategic and tactical key performance goals.Documenting and complying with software quality, data security and compliance processes.Creating proposals and present effectively to a diverse audience; manage stakeholders.Analyzing market and industry technology trends, adopting and discovering opportunities for growth. Developing strategies for application leads to support growth opportunities for products and services. Recommending, developing, and implementing customer experience process improvements. Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. Deriving actionable insights from the voice of the customer. Hiring, retaining, developing high performing motivated talent and leaders both onshore and offshore. Manage teams in both direct and matrix structures.
