Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Social Worker (SW) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year in Barrington, IL. If you are passionate about supporting students' social, emotional, and academic success, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities: ? Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social and emotional challenges ? Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support students' social and emotional well-being ? Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' needs and promote positive behavior ? Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families as needed ? Advocate for students' rights and access to resources ? Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other student support team meetings

Qualifications: ? Master's degree in Social Work or related field ? State Licensure as a Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) ? Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or mental health setting ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills ? Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
