Part-time Employment Lawyer (REMOTE)

Are you an employment attorney that needs flexibility and wants to practice part-time while still doing meaningful work? We are working with a sophisticated small Atlanta-based law firm who needs immediate assistance and is offering a fully remote WFH position at approximately 10 hours per week to start with... the opportunity to increase.
In this Employment Attorney position, you will interview clients, assist in case preparation, draft position statements, and review and analyze non-compete agreements. This role will not require onsite motion practice or court/arbitration proceedings, but experience with both would be beneficial. This is a part-time, contract engagement (as a benefits-eligible Latitude W2 employee when you reach 20 hours per week) and is anticipated to run through June 2024.
Basic Requirements for the Employment Attorney:
? 5+ years of experience practicing employment litigation, ideally in an employment practice group of a full-service or boutique law firm (AmLaw 200 experience highly preferred)
? Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
? Licensed to practice law in the United States
? Outstanding professional references
Position Details of the Employment Attorney:
? Type of role: Engagement (through June 2024 with possible extension)
? Schedule: Part-time (10 to 20 hours per week)

Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate?s preference (each candidate?s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate?s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
