Description

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. As a Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality virtual healthcare services to our patients through telehealth platforms. This role is integral in expanding access to healthcare and enhancing patient outcomes by leveraging technology to deliver timely and efficient care.

Working remotely, you will conduct virtual consultations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and provide health education to patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes other healthcare providers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient health.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice


• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner


• Experience with telemedicine or willingness to learn


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable high-speed internet connection

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient consultations using telehealth technology


• Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions


• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans


• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention


• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EHR systems


• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care


• Stay updated on the latest medical trends and telehealth technologies

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program


• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner


• Experience in telemedicine is preferred but not required
