Job Description:Online Order Fulfillment Assistant We wish to offer record-breaking grocery delivery services to our Prime Now customers here at Whole Foods Market, and we're seeking passionate individuals who can provide excellent customer service and have a genuine interest in our superior products. As an In-Store Shopper on the Store Support team, your main responsibility is to assist with Prime Now customer orders by selecting and preparing products for delivery or pickup. You'll be shopping for a variety of goods, including groceries and household essentials in our store. In meeting our customers' demands, it is essential that we maintain a flexible schedule. As such, we are interested in hiring Team Members who can commit to working Saturdays and Sundays, our busiest times. Our ideal candidate would be able to work during irregular hours, such as evenings and holidays. Availability Requirements: ? The work schedule for team members is prepared and presented to them with a three-week notice ? The standard duration of a shift is usually somewhere between 4 and 8 hours Job Requirements: ? The use of mobile devices to fulfill orders is a game-changer, making the entire experience more soothing ? Our team operates with a sense of urgency to accurately complete online orders quickly ? Perfectionistic, striving for product and order accuracy to the highest degree ? Having an enthusiasm for understanding product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations is important ? Maintaining a clean and organized staging area without any chaos or litter is an essential competence ? Eagerness to work interchangeably in different roles, including cashiering, stocking products, and answering customer inquiries, depending on the store's needs. Basic Qualifications: ? The prerequisite for this is that the person must have reached the age of majority, which is 18 years and above ? Proficiency in elementary English reading and speaking ? The physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for at least 6 hours, and regularly perform physical activities like pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodations, are crucial qualifications for this role ? The attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent degree can bolster self-confidence and motivate individuals towards achieving personal goals The role requires the successful candidate to meet certain physical demands and work under specific conditions: ? You must possess the skill to lift a weighty item of up to 50 pounds for this position. ? In a typical 8-hour work day, an individual may spend as much as 8 hours on their feet, with sitting only comprising 1-4 hours of the day's activities. ? Using a single hand to grasp and hold objects is a basic function that we rely on every day, whether it's holding a mug of coffee or picking up a book. ? The successful completion of job duties involves a series of movements such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching that workers must perform. ? Contact with cleaning agents that have been vetted by the FDA. ? It is essential to consider the impact of temperature on food storage and medication when selecting the right temperature for refrigeration. ? Expertise in handling a versatile timetable that comprises night shifts, weekends, and holidays, contingent on the needs of the job. ? Competent in the operation and handling of various types of machinery and tools, such as electric pallet jacks, box cutters, and other heavy equipment. ? The task at hand may necessitate working with ladders. Following the conclusion of their initial 90-day probationary period and remaining actively employed in a job that meets the requirements, newly recruited Team Members could be considered for a base pay rate increase.
