You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years... of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains ? air, land, sea, space and cyber. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/ Responsibilities: This role will also support integration, test, and verification in the final products Analyze, design, simulate, and implement algorithms in hardware descriptor languages, HDL (VHDL, Verilog), based on customer requirements and/or MATLAB model(s) Implement and validate signal processing concepts such as FFTs, channelizers, digital filters, digital modulation, digital down/up-conversion, adaptive processing, etc Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team (electrical engineers, systems engineers and scientists) to design and integrate challenging DSP FPGA designs and RF sensor systems Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team to design and integrate DSP applications for latest System on a Chip (SoC) implementations such as Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+, Intel Stratix-10, and Xilinx RFSoC, Versal Analyze, design, simulate, and implement designs which interface to common signaling standards, typical IP hard macros such as SERDES, PLLS, etc and/or protocols such PCIe, JESD204B, LVDS, etc Implement firmware solutions that interface with hardware and SW systems (FPGAs, GPUs, GPPs) Develop and maintain firmware in compliance with security, quality, and performance requirements Contribute to the development of firmware architectures, design patterns, and engineering best practices Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging efforts as part of a collaborative team environment Develop and maintain requirements documents, functional specification documents, interface control documents, etc Develop project test plans and test procedures, provide test planning support, and assist in the execution of both lab testing and field testing Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience Typically 6 or more years of relevant experience developing DSP software systems, preferably in a SIGINT/military context Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and other scripting languages commonly used in DSP systems Experience with signal processing libraries and frameworks such as Redhawk, GNU radio, intel primitives (IPP), liquid DSP, FFTW, GNU scientific libraries, etc Familiarity with networking, packets, TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast and network architectures Familiarity with gRPC, sockets, XML and JSON Familiarity with a LINUX development environment, Petalinux and Yocto US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Preferred: Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral Experienced with data structures Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field Familiarity with government open standards: SOSA, VITA, MORA, etc Familiarity with FPGA and ARM processors and memory access (e.g. DMA) Familiarity with MATLAB & Simulink Familiarity with revision control (git, cvs, clearcase, etc.) US Citizenship with an Active Security Clearance Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38.
