Independent Reviewing Officer- - on going contract

NonStop Care is currently working with a well established authority in South East, who are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their service in the safeguarding and Reviewing Team .

The authority works collaboratively with children and families ensuring the best outcomes for children and a rewarding work environment for you! You will have the comfort of joining an authority with experienced staff/ management helping you along the way!

Responsibilities:

The role will involve travel to placements, both face to face meetings and hybrid meetings and participating in any team away days and team meetings.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a related field.

Experience of all service user groups and with users from ethnic minorities.

Experience of residential and family placement services.

Experience of child protection work

knowledge and experience of the systems for children in care and be professionally confident and competent in challenging standards of care and practice
Registration with Social Work England
Excellent report writing skills/assessment skills
Significant IRO experience
Enhanced DBS
