What You’ll Be Doing in the role of Sr. Director
The Sr. Director of Cloud Engineering & Support is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the support and delivery of highly available I.T. services and software engineering development services. I.T. services include but are not limited to WAN, LAN, Cloud, Help Desk, Desktop Support, and Server Administration. In addition, this position is responsible for managing I.T. application support, engineering, and outsourced IT vendor relationships that are shared across business units. The Sr Director of Cloud Engineering and Support manages a budget and staff which includes IT, hardware, software, network management and application support. This position requires a player/coach mentality with high customer service delivery.
What You Will Bring to the Table
Designing, implementing, and maintaining high availability systems with load balancing, redundancy, and clustering features.
Responsible to deliver unified communication tools such as Teams Voice, Chat, and Video
This position will ensure that one technology can leverage the other for maximum efficiency, cost savings, and customer experience.
Establishing the vision, strategy and team development that results in the effective delivery of all internally managed systems, cloud-based infrastructure and 3rd party services used across the Komen enterprise.
Developing collaborative relationships with business leaders in order to drive our IT transformation agenda and corporate strategy.
Continuously manage and update IT Cloud to match current business applications integration requirements. Manage a pool of engineering resources that can be leveraged to deliver cost-effective/customer focused I.T. initiatives
Oversee response of IT Department as a whole to IT service needs. Design procedures, track responses and recommend changes to the VP of IT as necessary to improve overall IT service. Develops, enforces and oversees production change methodology.
Responsible for the HelpDesk of the organization. Must maintain the highest level of service during the busiest time of the year. Manages and directs the customer service SLAs and technological interactions such as online chat, email and coaching phone/communication etiquette for all technicians.
Oversees multiple levels of action plans from individual client IT help desk issues to major corporate wide implementations and changes.
Be responsible for final quality assurance on all IT software and equipment rollouts. Design and test implementation procedures for deployment of software and hardware, ensure adequate user notification/documentation exists.
Oversee IT Projects that help form the IT backbone of the Komen organization. This includes working with the VP of IT on developing technology in the cloud that will help the Foundation cut costs and enhance performance.
To lead by example and coach/mentor staff to be customer focused in all that we do.
Develops and maintains infrastructure budgets, contract negotiations and delivery of services.
Implement and maintain the necessary IT standards to efficiently and effectively optimize the Komen production environments.
Implement and maintain the necessary IT metrics, SLA’s and OLA’s to deliver a world class service.
Responsible for the ongoing evolution of the infrastructure to focus on execution and quality, while at the same time, consistently and predictably delivering service through standard, repeatable processes.
Plan and carry out threat assessments and vulnerability management activities related to design, coding, configuration, auditing, scanning, testing, assessing, reporting and managing ticketing queue in conjunction with appropriate supporting team, ensuring remediations based upon SLA’s and retesting after completion.
Ability to design technical, administrative or physical controls to meet the requirements defined in industry standards such as the NIST 800 series, PCI, HIPAA, Cloud Security Alliance, OWASP, and other standards or laws.
Provide technical responses as needed for our due diligence process for our constituents.
Define and complete goals, set security metrics, and provide reports on results.
This role is critical in ensuring end-to-end DR and BCP practices exist and are exercised with cadence to meet all regulatory and business best practices.

Supervises the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards. Is responsible for hiring, training and developing, terminating decisions.

We Already Know You Will Also Have
Excellent hands-on knowledge of a wide range of Cloud technologies – network, server, storage, security, enterprise applications, databases, and desktop.
Working knowledge of the interdependencies between/across businesses to proactively identify risks/issues that could have an impact on business results.
Deliver digital style guides and pattern libraries and partner with Brand, Digital, and designers and developers across the organization to manage its evolution and ensure consistency of our digital properties.
High level of working knowledge of router and switch configuration and WAN/LAN management.
Strong working knowledge and understanding of key concepts in ITIL, SDLC, Dev/Ops, and cloud services.
15+ years of relevant work experience including proven ability to successfully lead and oversee critical projects and cross-functional efforts.
Minimum of Bachelors’ Degree.
CISSP or CISM or CCSP Certification is a must.

Implementing PCI and NIST or HITRUST or HIPAA compliance programs.

Azure DevOps or Security Certification is a plus

Approximate salary $130,000 – $150,000, exact compensation ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location.
