The Marketing intern role involves providing comprehensive support to our Marketing Communications team, with a primary focus on event coordination including webcasts, roundtables, forums, and tradeshows. Additionally, you’ll offer ongoing administrative assistance for branded merchandise, digital graphics, and attendee registration across various projects spanning Enterprise, Publisher, Corporate, Academic, Standards, and Internal Communications domains. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of Marketing within our organization, fostering a deeper understanding of our business operations at every level. You’ll also have the chance to participate in ongoing training sessions covering PR/Social Marketing, website management, and interaction with different business units, product owners, developers, and professional moderators to understand how panels effectively engage audiences.
We embrace a hybrid/remote work model, providing flexibility to our team members. The selected candidate for this position will be expected to work at our Danvers, MA headquarters one to two days a week, with a targeted start date of June 3, 2024.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Assisting with Q4 and Q1 events such as tradeshows, webcasts, seminars, roundtables, and forums by organizing materials, creating graphics, coordinating signage, and handling logistical arrangements.
Providing support for internal communications events.
Managing branded merchandise inventory and coordinating international shipping.
Collaborating with various Marketing teams on diverse projects as needed.
Fulfilling other assigned tasks and achieving desired outcomes.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Completion of at least one year of college.
Interest in Marketing, promotion, advertising, event coordination, and social media.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity with graphic design or website software is advantageous.
