We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities…
Data Optimization: Efficiently collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to optimize healthcare data.
Insight Generation: Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in healthcare data to support various initiatives in clinical, operational, and financial domains.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to translate findings into meaningful insights and contribute to informed decision-making.
Database Management: Develop and maintain databases and data systems essential for projects and departmental functions.
Model Development: Create and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to facilitate predictive modeling and forecasting.
Reporting: Interpret data, perform statistical analyses, and deliver ongoing reports to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with diverse teams to understand business needs and propose data-driven solutions.
Visualization: Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and aid decision-making processes.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analyses and research projects to address specific healthcare-related queries or challenges.
Methodology Development: Establish and implement data analysis methodologies and best practices.
Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and audit data quality to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains through data analysis.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and data security standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SPSS, SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred.
Strong Problem-solving Abilities And Critical Thinking Skills.
Familiarity with healthcare quality measures, population health management, and value-based care models is advantageous.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques is desirable.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques.
