This role requires exceptionally strong analytical skills, direct work experience in developing ways to assess immature environments, leading initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity and providing recommendations on methodologies, practices, and processes to improve their maturity. This role is responsible for leading a team of individuals responsible ensure all aspects of ongoing issues and corrective action management, risk assessment, governance reviews, and audit/regulator exams are managed accordingly. This role will support and lead efforts to drive appropriate governance in support of the issue and corrective action management, identification of remediation activities that mitigate risk, close gaps, socialize standards with the business community and influences effective, accurate and timely ITSO practices. Develop and support governance frameworks that will provide guidance to business partners as they manage technology software/hardware through the asset management lifecycle, configuration management, change and release management, service and availability management, incident and problem management, and service desk activities. Provides coordination across the business and with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and supports lines of defense activities. Educates others about risk strategy and approach for remediation of issues to ensure ongoing sustainment. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to ensure remediation activities achieve greater efficiencies.
